City of Flagstaff Youth Mental Health Proclamation
Flagstaff City Council will consider a Proclamation designating May 2019 as Mental Health Month in the City of Flagstaff. The Council’s action aims to increase awareness about mental health as a pledge to eliminate the stigma of and increase awareness for all, that mental illnesses are common and treatable.
We wanted to extend an invitation for your participation during the Proclamation reading on May 7, 2019. As engaged community members with a passion and commitment to addressing mental health and improving well-being for all, your presence signals the support for these community-wide efforts.
We hope you will attend and show your support. Please extend this invitation to anyone you feel appropriate.
