IMPACTS: High School Graduation; Post-Secondary Enrollment and Attainment
ACTIONS CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS
- Develop communications tools to explain processes for employers to find an intern and for students to find internships
- Exploration of a “single point of entry” for coordination of work-based learning (WBL) opportunities
- Exploration of a structure for middle-school student exposure to career pathways
- Supporting career exploration and
WBL coordination staff at CCC and FUSD - Coordination with REL West and FUSD on college and career readiness strategic plan
- Develop and support efforts for an October 2019 work-based learning and career exploration event(s) in Flagstaff.
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
- Planning for events in October related to manufacturing month
- Identify the overlaps and gaps in programs and curricula and strategize for improved alignment.

- How do we enhance the pipeline to create access to internships for students at other stages of education?
- How will we create a “handoff” process in the development of a single point of entry for internships?
- How will we measure our success?
